Madhav Nayak spent most of his formative years in Mumbai, where he finished his schooling, acquired an engineering degree and MBA, and started a career in marketing.
Growing up, his passion for cricket—watching, reading and blogging about the sport—was matched only by his love for crime fiction. It’s hardly a googly then that his debut novel, A Murder is Fixed, is a detective mystery set in Mumbai, against the backdrop of the cricketing world. Madhav currently heads marketing for a multi-national brand in Singapore, where he lives with his wife and son.
