Kabir Bedi began his career in Bollywood, worked in Hollywood and became a star in Europe. He was the villain in the James Bond film Octopussy, and starred in The Bold and the Beautiful, one of the most watched series in the world. In Europe his Sandokan series broke all television records. He has millions of fans and well-wishers across the world.
Kabir’s career has spanned three continents in three mediums: film, television and theatre.

He starred with Michael Caine in Ashanti and Roddy McDowell in Thief of Baghdad. He played the title role in the Italian film The Black Pirate (Il Corsaro Nero). On American television he has acted in popular series like Highlander, Murder She Wrote, Magnum P.I. and Dynasty, and many HBO series. On stage he starred in John Murrell’s Taj at the Luminato Festival in Canada, and M.M.Kaye’s Far Pavilions in London’s West End. In India he has acted in over 65 Bollywood films and is also an expert commentator on television and is the voice behind many ad films and documentaries.

Kabir has been honoured with Italy’s highest civilian award, “Cavaliere,” knighting him for his lifetime achievements. He is a voting member of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which awards the Oscars.

Kabir is also known for his support of philanthropic and social causes. He is Brand Ambassador of SightSavers India, which gives sight to the visually challenged, and of Care & Share Italia, which looks after street children and educates them, from kindergarten to university in India.

Kabir lives with his wife, Parveen Dhusanj, a film producer on Juhu Beach in Mumbai. He travels regularly to his three favourite cities, Rome, London and Los Angeles. For Kabir, ‘All the world’s a stage’.
